TO ALL THE STAFF HOLIDAY INN LEIDEN. I just had to share my thoughts with you on returning home to England . On behalf of my wife and I, I would like to say a massive thank you for making Christmas so enjoyable for us. From the moment we arrived at reception on the 23rd the foyer looked very colourful with all the decorations. Our room (361) was so very clean in all respects .We have travelled and stayed in many 5 star hotels and 5 star cruise ships but Holiday Inn Leiden is the best.!!! The restaurant staff were wonderful Wilfreida,Yolanda,Daisy,Sandra and Matt were exceptional .Nothing was too much trouble for them. Now we come to the food ,oh what food ! Buffet breakfast was always well presented and a delight to eat. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day buffets were out of this world ,please convey our thanks to the Chefs and kitchen staff for outstanding quality food. The entertainment Christmas Eve was good but WIGS on 1st&2nd days of Christmas were fantastic ,everyone really had a great night. What more can I say, I have been coming to Holiday Inn Leiden since 1973 and it just gets better and better ,it is lovely to meet up with staff that we have known for so long and are like our family.Once again a big THANK YOU. ECAT Foundation / Piet Meijer

From 10 – 12 November 2010 the ECAT Foundation has held their biennial scientific symposium, courses and workshop already for the sixth time in the Holiday Inn Hotel in Leiden. With about 175 participants this is a rather busy event with participants from all over the world. The facilities are excellent and very well appreciated by the participants. Even the vendors are very well satisfied with a nice exhibition area at the Patio close to the restaurant area. Even the fact that participant could stay overnight in the same facility is very well appreciated. The services of the hotel are excellent. The lunches provide are wonderful. And last but not least, the personnel is very kind and helpful. With this very good experience the ECAT Foundation has decided to organise their next event in 2012 again in the Holiday Inn Hotel in Leiden.
