Diner
Every Saturday and Sunday we present our famous Holiday Inn Family Buffet. Between 04.00 and 08.00 PM you can enjoy the best dishes prepared by our Chef. During this buffet all guests also enjoy free access to the swimming pool and sauna. And our youngest guests will have an enjoyable time in the Jungle club!
Every Friday between 06.00 and 09.30 PM we present a real Italian Family Buffet. Here you can enjoy the best Italian dishes like salami´s, insalata, antipasti, ossobuco, fresh Italian vegetables and a delicious dessert buffet. Rate: € 26,50 per person from 13 years old. Children 0-12 years old eat for free if accompanied by their parents (maximum of 1 child per adult and a maximum of 2 children per room). Not possible during Easter, Christmas, special theme buffets etc.
All-in beverage package
Unlimited drinks during the Holiday Inn Buffet such as soft drinks, beer, house wine, port-wine, sherry, Vermouth, geneva (Dutch assortment) in our Garden restaurant. On international drinks you receive a 50% discount. Available between 4 and 8 PM (only applicable for all members of your reservation). Rate per person from 13 years and older € 12,50. Children 5 - 12 years old € 8,50 and under 5 only € 5,00 per child.
Coffe or tea with apple pie
Enjoy a tastefull cup of coffee or make your choice from our tea selection and we serve you our traditional apple pie with clotted cream! Your children make their choose for their favorite drink too. Please sit down wherever you like: at our patio, restaurant or lobby. Your children will enjoy themselves in our "Jungle Club" or ask for one of the games available at our reception desk. Rate: € 5,50 per person.
Hot chocolate
After strolling around on the beach during the winter season or a cold shopping day in the city of Leiden, we warmly welcome you with hot chocolate. Rate: € 3,00 per person.
Children's surprise
Surprise your children upon check-in and receive a bag with several games, drawing materials etc. Of course, first they want to check-in at our special children's desk. Rate: € 7,50 per child (only for children up to and including 12 years old).
Tennis and squash courts
Our Racket center offers 5 tennis courts (3 indoor and 2 outdoor), 4 squash courts, a fitness area and dress rooms with shower and toilets. Get your energy back at the bar or take a seat at our sunny terrace. Rate per hour each court € 10,00 including rackets for 2 persons.
Bike rental
Typical Dutch! The best way to discover Leiden is by bike... The historic city center of Leiden is within easy reach or you can explore the beautiful surroundings (Northsea beaches, bulbfields Keukenhof, lakes etc.) Upon request we also rent out children bikes, child seats or helmets (limited availability). Rate: € 7,50 per person per day from 13 years (including route). Children € 5,50 (5-12 years).
Luxurious room
You need more space? Stay overnight in one of our King rooms with an extra large boxspring bed (2 x 2 meters). These rooms are also equipped with a flatscreen TV with internet connection to use your own laptop (internet access at a surcharge).
Rate: € 15,00 surcharge per room per night (a maximum of 2 persons per room).
Our brand-new Executive rooms are tastefully decorated, equipped with luxury amenities such as a Nespresso coffee machine, relax seat, highly comfortable beds, a comfortable working desk, laptop (sized) safe and led-lighting. For your comfort and relaxation a stay in an Executive room includes use of bathrobe, daily newspaper (on weekdays) and luxury bathroom products. Our Executive room guests enjoy a 50% discount on high-speed Internet access and a welcome drink upon arrival.
Rate: € 15,00 surcharge per room per night (a maximum of 2 persons per room).
Lazy Sunday
You can extend your stay with our Lazy Sunday Special...! For a surcharge of only € 25,00 per room you can extend your check-out until 05.00 p.m on Sunday and you will recieve a voucher for a cup of coffee or tea with pastry. Furthermore you can use all our facilities such as our indoor swimming pool and sauna. Your children can enjoy themselves in our Jungle club.

We can offer the Lazy Sunday Special including dinner for 2 adults and 2 children (younger than 13 years) at a surcharge of € 75,00. You check out after dinner!
Amusement park Duinrell: a fun day out for the whole family
Amusement park Duinrell is a splashing day out for everyone. Duinrell offers you fun for the whole family. From 'the Waterspin' and the 'Splash' to indoor playground 'Rick’s Fun Factory' and rollercoaster 'Falcon'. Amusement park Duinrell is an adventure for everyone. We offer reduced entrance rates! Please check the website for opening hours (only 10 minutes drive!). Rate: € 16,50 from 4 years and older, free entree untill 3 years old. Open from April 16th untill October 30th 2011.
Musea
Your visit to Leiden is not complete without visiting one of the famous musea in Leiden with international collections! Dinosaurs, paintings of f.i. Rembrandt, mummies from Egypt, Japanese treasures and the oldest Hortus Botanicus in the Netherlands.. you should see them all (for both young and old). Space Expo
See what it was like for the first man on the moon, experience the simulated launch of an Ariane rocket 'live', discover the world of satellites with the test models of European space missions and find out all about astronauts and see how they live and work in space. Boattrip Leiden
A boat trip of approximately one hour takes you along the canals of Leiden. From the water you have a splendid view of the many beautiful monumental canalside houses, the colourful flower market (Wednesday and Saturday), museums and the lively terraces of Rembrandt's birthplace. The boats daily boat trips round the city of Leiden, in case of bad wheater the boats can be roofed over if necessary, or open when possible. Trips are available untill the end of October 2011.
